The innovative Snag Proof Strain Relief is designed specifically to be crimped with the EZ-RJ45® and ezEX-RJ45® plugs. The primary strain relief of the plug locks the snag proof strain relief in place so they will not pull off, creating one, integral assembly. Once crimped, this design allows the plug’s primary strain relief to relax slightly, preventing the cable pairs from being over compressed. This decrease in stress contributes to achieving peak performance. The tab on the strain relief is designed to extend over the plug’s locking tab, making it snag proof when administering patch cords. The set NE8MC6-MO includes a cable plug carrier offering a robust metal shell with push-pull locking system, proven Neutrik chuck-type strain relief and a CAT6 RJ45 plug. The set can accommodate STP und UTP cables with O.D. of 5.5 to 6.5mm and gauge of AWG 22 to 28 solid or stranded wire. This self-termination version is water-protected according to IP65.

The 3 pole phone jack panel mount version provides stable and secure connections where accidental disconnect or shock and vibration may occur. It latches with standard A-gauge mono or stereo plugs. Plug locks-in automatically when mating and unlocks only by pressing red release tab. Standard D size front panel appearance. Selectable grounding options.
